Use and maintenance and precautions 

 1. When the electrode is in use, the rubber stopper and rubber cap of the small holes at the upper and lower ends of the electrode should be removed to prevent the diffusion potential from affecting the test results. 

 2. There should be no air bubbles in the salt bridge solution in the electrode to prevent the short circuit of the solution. The electrode of the saturated salt bridge solution type should retain a few crystals to ensure the saturation requirement.

  3. Double-salt bridge electrodes must have rubber stoppers and rubber caps in use. The second section of salt bridge solution is filled with an appropriate inert electrolyte solution, and then installed and used to ensure the accuracy of the test results. 

 4. When there is salt bridge solution or crystals on the electrode shell, it should be removed at any time.
